A robust outboard shoulder enhances lateral grip on dry roads while four circumferential channels flow water from between the tyre's contact patch and the road to enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. Independent tread blocks and multiple sipes increase the biting edges needed to enhance traction in light snow. The tyre's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by nylon cap plies to provide high speed-durability.
